Course Content
The declaration of the Republic and political, social and cultural reforms, economic breakthroughs, problems that the Lausanne Peace Treaty could not solve and their finalisation, movements against the new order, multi-party life trials and their results, Turkish foreign policy in the Atatürk period, İnönü period and the years of the Second World War, Turkey's transition to multi-party life, the Democratic Party period and the post-democratic party period Atatürkism and Atatürk's Principles.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course, which is based on the teaching of the birth and development of modern Turkey: To give accurate information about the Atatürkist Thought System, the history of the Republic of Turkey and the threats to Turkey and the applications of the Atatürkist Thought System; to educate, strengthen and unite the Turkish youth around national goals in line with the Atatürkist Thought System in an indivisible integrity with its country, nation and state; to raise individuals who are rational, modern, honourable, hardworking, full of love for country and nation, tolerance and humanistic ideas.
