Midwifery

1. Provides midwifery services in public and private healthcare institutions or by establishing their own business in line with their entrepreneurial skills, with an awareness of their roles and responsibilities in order to protect and improve health at every stage of life, particularly during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period.

2. Midwives pursue professional development in line with the principle of lifelong learning.

3. Midwives play an active role in academic and scientific research and professional policy development at the national and international levels.

4. Midwives participate in economic, technological, or social projects at various levels in organisations established for professional and community service purposes.
