Course Content
The nature of midwifery and its effect on the way of birth; traditional methods of midwives for pregnant women in the prenatal period; traditional methods of midwives for birth; traditional methods of midwives for the postpartum period; traditional methods of midwives for the newborn; definition of home birth methods used by midwives to facilitate birth; goals of midwifery care in home birth; advantages and disadvantages of home birth; home birth video monitoring; care of the woman in home birth; newborn care in home birth.
Objectives of the Course
It is aimed to increase the possibilities of individualized care during care and treatment by providing midwifery students with knowledge about traditional practices and home birth.
