Course Content
It includes basic professional vocabulary learning with basic grammar rules of students.
Objectives of the Course
To increase the vocabulary capacity of the students at the vocational level, to enable them to use English whenever they need while performing their profession, to ensure that they can understand the English texts created in vocational jargon.

1 | Ice breaking activities are done, the aim and gains of the lesson are narrated. |
2 | Students learn some of the jobs i hospital while they learn how to desrcibe some departments of hospital and facilities. |
3 | The rules of simple present and present continous tense as well as prepositions of location are reminded within the framework of hospital departments. |
4 | The students learn how to interview and assess a patient and explain medical process. |
5 | The student learns how to encourage patients to describe their pain and its place by taking advantage of comparative and superlative structures. |
6 | The students learn some adjective phrases which may be necessary to desrcibe pain. |
7 | Students learn how v to give advice to the patients by applying appropriate communication methods. |
8 | Midterm exam |
9 | The students learn how to describe the stastistics by using vocabulary about weight and measurements. |
10 | The students learn how to describe a patient's vital signs and how to complete an observation chart, then, some abbreviations for vital signs are indicated. |
11 | The rules of future tense (Will) are reminded to give instructions to the patients. |
12 | The students learn how patients describe their symptoms and injuries by using simple past and past continous tense. |
13 | Students learn what kind of open or closed question may be directed to patients to have an appropriate record, this issue is discussed in the lesson. |
14 | Students learn how to understand the symptoms and causes of asthma, by this way the try to give appropriate instruction to the patients. |
