Toplumdaki sağlık sorunlarının belirlenmesi, sağlıklı kişilerin nasıl korunması gerektiği ve enfeksiyonlu hastalara bakım verme eğitimi ve bulaşıcı hastalıkların önemi konularını içermektedir.
Objectives of the Course
In order to comprehend the importance and treatment methods of infectious diseases, it is aimed to learn concepts such as disease, infection, disease agent, incubation period, transmission period, epidemic disease, infectious disease chain and transmission route.

1 Definition of epidemiology, historical development and areas of use
2 Introduction to contagious diseases, concepts, control of contagious diseases, epidemiology and surveillance work
3 Epidemiological data sources, criteria affecting the level of health
4 Precautions to be taken before communicable diseases emerge (protective measures for the members of the society/protective measures for the environment, studies for food, fight against vectors, other measures for the environment)
5 Hospital infections
6 Immunization to protect against infections (Extended Immunization Program )
8 Midterm exam
9 Diseases transmitted by the digestive tract (food poisoning, Brucellosis, Botilismus, Dysentery, Typhoid, Cholera, Poliomyelitis and Parasitic Diseases) and prevention
10 Diseases, protection and midwifery care with leather and mucosa
11 Sexually transmitted diseases (Hepatitis B, herpes simplex, HIV (AIDS)) and prevention
12 Infectious Diseases and midwifery Care
