Course Content
It includes vocabulary and grammar rules for students to use the language effectively in their fields.
Objectives of the Course
The course objective is to increase students'vocational vocabulary treasure, to make them use the language when they need it while performing their vocation, to make students understand reading and listening texts consisting of vocational terminology.

Weekly Detailed Course Contents
Week Topics
1 The body and movement explaining the benefits of exercise to a patient ,explaining to a patient how to do exercise after surgery ,giving prepositions of place and movement,when-clause+ it helps ,presenting related words (arm,finger,ankle,head,back,chest,lip,)
2 The body and movement. setting goals and giving encouragement, assessing a patient's range of motion, comparative adjectives and talking about what a patient can/cannot do.
3 Medication, explaining how to take medication, prepositions: into the ear, by mouth,on the skin,under the tongue ,:forms of medication: capsule,drops,injection etc. medication routes: into the ear, by mouth, etc.
4 Medication calculating the dosage and frequency of medication, reading prescriptions, expressions of frequency, aritmetical symbols, medical terms and abbreviations for prescriptions.
5 Medication, explaining possible side effects,helping a patient manage medication, taking telephone messages for a patient, giving modal verbs (may,might,will ), presenting common side effects of medication,telephone expressions.

8 The hospital team, explaining what you are going to do and why,giving clear instructions to a patient,encouraging a patient to co-operate, the future: be going to and will, equipment for moving and handling patients: banane board,hand blocks etc.
9 The hospital team communicating with team members by phone ,checking inventory and ordering supplies, past simple of be and any ,enough, medical stock: gauze,surgical tape, scissors. etc. specimen tube of blood, bottle of disinfectant etc.
10 The hospital team, talking about safety in a hospital, past simple : regular verbs, expressing obligation: always/never+ ıf clause
11 Recovering and assessing the elderly, checking up on a patient after surgery, explaining what happens to a patient in recovery, past simple : irregular verbs.
12 Recovery and assessing the elderly, talking about old age , assessing an elderly care home resident, offering advice and making suggestions.
