Course Content
Health assessment and midwifery; collection of subjective and objective (physical examination) data; general evaluation (pain, anthropometric measurements); vital findings; skin, head and neck physical examination; physical examination of the heart and vascular system; physical examination of thorax, lungs and abdomen; physical examination of musculoskeletal system; physical examination of the nervous system; physical examination of the reproductive system; physical examination and gynecological examination of the breast and axilla; pregnancy examination; evaluation of poultice examination and lactation process; newborn examination.
Objectives of the Course
To acquire the knowledge, skills and behaviors that can make the physical evaluation of healthy and sick person.
