Course Content
Ebeliğin temel kavramları; günlük yaşam aktiviteleri modeli; ebelik süreci: ebelik tanılaması, planlama, uygulama, değerlendirme, kayıt ve rapor etme; yaşamsal bulgular; laboratuvar uygulaması; ilaç yönetimi; kan alma; parenteral ilaç uygulamaları; intravenöz sıvı tedavisi; ilaç hataları; güvenli çevre sağlama ve sürdürme aktivitesi; hasta kabul- nakil ve taburculuk süreci; hasta güvenliği; enfeksiyon kontrolü ve doku bütünlüğünün sağlanması ve yara bakımı; solunumun sürdürülmesi ve uygulamaları; beslenme aktivitesi; boşaltım sistemi ve uygulamaları; beden sıcaklığı aktivitesi sıcak-soğuk uygulamalar; ağrının yönetimi; hareket, vücut mekaniği ve hastanın hareket ettirilmesi; uyku ve dinlenmenin sağlanması; kişisel temizlik ve giyinme aktivitesi; kan transfüzyonu uygulaması; ameliyat öncesi, sırası ve sonrası bakım; cinsellik ve uyku; kayıp ve ölüm süreci konularını içermektedir.

1 Meeting, presentation of the semester course execution plan, basic concepts, human and basic human needs, health, disease, environment concept, homeostasis and care concept
2 Midwifery process: midwifery diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, recording and reporting
3 Vital signs
4 Drug applications (Oral, Eye, Nose, Ear, Rectal, Vaginal, Inhalation, Intradermal)
5 Drug applications (Subcutaneous, Intramuscular, Intravenous)
6 Personal cleaning and dressing activity: hygiene practices, infection control, asepsis, antisepsis, isolation types and rules, tissue integrity and wound care
7 Activity of providing and maintaining a safe environment: patient admission-transport and discharge process, patient safety

9 Respiratory activity: maintenance and applications of respiration
10 Nutritional activity: nutrition, excretory activity: excretory system and applications
11 Body temperature activity, hot-cold applications, management of pain
12 Mobility activity: movement, body mechanics and moving the patient
13 Sleep activity: providing sleep and rest, sexuality, loss and death process
14 Blood transfusion administration, pre-, intra- and post-operative care
