Objectives of the Course
It is aimed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills about systemic diseases, common internal and surgical conditions and midwifery care that should be applied in these cases.

2 | Pathophysiological events in the cell (Shock, Cell Adaptation Mechanisms, Cell Injury, Inflammation, Repair and Wound Healing, stress mechanism) |
3 | Pain Management and preoperative-postop care (Acute pain, chronic pain, grading of pain intensity, general approach to pain) |
4 | Respiratory system diseases and midwifery care (Symptoms and Physical Examination in Lung Diseases, Acute Respiratory Failure, Tuberculosis, Infectious Diseases of the Respiratory System, AC Cancers, Sleep Apnea) |
5 | Cardiovascular system diseases and midwifery care (physiology of the heart, examination of the heart, heart failure, hypertension, heart valve diseases, embolism, varicose veins and venous insufficiency) |
