P2 Gain the necessary current, theoretical and practical knowledge about the cognitive, physical, sexual, moral, language, motor, self-care, social and emotional development areas and developmental characteristics of children with atypical development. 1
P3 It prepares, implements and evaluates a developmental support program appropriate to the characteristics of typically and atypically developing, at-risk and sick children. 3
P4 Using the knowledge gained in the field of child development, he/she communicates effectively with children and other people with leadership qualities, carries out individual and team work, takes responsibility for the problems and activities encountered in practice and fulfills his/her duties. 1
P5 With the awareness of social responsibility, he/she plans and implements professional projects, research and activities for the social environment he/she is in, and monitors and evaluates the process. 4
P6 It develops and evaluates materials and programs appropriate to children's age and development, and organizes appropriate educational environments to support their learning in accordance with their needs and development levels. 2
P7 Plans, prepares and evaluates all activities required by the field of child development (Turkish, music, drama, art, games, movement, science, mathematics, field trip, preparation for reading and writing). 3
P8 It organizes activities related to child development in line with its awareness of the universality of social rights, social justice, quality culture and protection of cultural values, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, family and public health. 5
P9 Transfers the theoretical and theoretical knowledge gained in the field of child development and education into practice in the field. 1
P10 Uses Turkish effectively and in accordance with its rules, and follows national and international literature related to her/his field. 2
P11 Continuously improves professional knowledge and skills by participating in in-house, national and international training/lessons. 4
