Course Content
What is science? how children learn science ?, Science Process Skills , Science program in Early Childhood Education and Science Teaching Methods , Science and Nature Materials Science Education Corner , Science Teacher Education , Role of the Family and Society, Science Education Assessment, Science event planning, material preparation and discussion , Nature Education, science activities performed in nature , definition of mathematics content . mathematics in everyday life , math programs for preschool children in the world, mathematics and mathematics materials to examine the material development
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide teacher candidates with an understanding of the importance of Science and nature in early childhood education, to have knowledge about the basic concepts related to science and nature, to introduce methods used in teaching the basic concepts related to science and nature, to gain ability to create concept maps, to introduce outside the classroom to plan At the end of this course: students will be able to understand mathematical thinking, the content of Mathematics programs to be developed for preschool children, principles, application processes and methods, materials to develop mathematical thinking.
