Course Content
The definition of prepared children's literature products for 0-6 years , types, properties, and matters of interest to children in the 0-6 age group and age group to meet the basic psychological needs of the children the importance of children's books , contemporary methods used in children's literature Children and digital media products ( animated films , commercials , computer games , websites and so on. ) To examine the relationship between media theories
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to inform students about the development of children's literature in Turkey and in the world, the importance of meeting qualified children's books in childhood and the function of children's literature works in the education of individuals who have a reading culture. This course aims to introduce suitable child literature products especially for 0-6 age children. To inform students about the role and importance of digital media in the life of children and families. An examination of the relationship between media culture and child development will be the focus of this course. Students will be able to investigate the dimensions of the relationship between digital media products and children and the impact of this relationship on family and school. Current theories on the subject will be taught by relevance to research results.
