Course Content
Explanation of our state structure and the concept of revolution. Interpretation of Atatürk's principles. Turkey and the Turkic world, the French Revolution, Ottoman reform movements, the Tanzimat, constitutional monarchies, intellectual movements, Tripoli, the Balkan Wars, World War I, agreements regarding the partition of the Ottoman Empire, the Armistice and the National Struggle period, the reforms of the Republican era, domestic developments, economic developments, foreign developments, World War II, and the multi-party period.
Objectives of the Course
To provide information about the Turkish War of Independence, the Republic of Turkey, the reforms, and Atatürk. To raise awareness among Turkish youth about uniting them around common goals within an indivisible whole with their country, nation, and state. To inform Turkish youth about historical figures who have served our nation throughout our history.
