Weapons Industry Technician

Weapons Industry Technician Program is an interdisciplinary program that combines mechanical, materials, production technologies, and ballistics. Our program trains competent and qualified technical personnel who can work in processes such as the design, manufacture, assembly, maintenance, repair, and quality control of weapon systems, ammunition, armor, barrels, and ballistic components used in the defense industry. In addition, students gain knowledge and skills in areas such as computer-aided design and manufacturing, modern production methods, hydraulic-pneumatic systems, surface treatment, and heat treatment techniques.

The Weapons Industry Technician Program aims to provide students with a solid foundation in weapons technologies and defense industry production systems and to reinforce this knowledge with practical projects. The program enables students to develop their design, analysis, production, and problem-solving skills while also providing them with the ability to use modern engineering tools. Interdisciplinary work habits, teamwork, communication skills, professional ethics, and occupational health and safety awareness are among the program's key priorities. Furthermore, students are encouraged to embrace continuous learning, develop innovative thinking, and quickly adapt to areas of expertise needed in the industry.
