Course Content
Mechanical, chemical, and thermal surface treatment methods used to improve material surface properties. Coating technologies and applications for enhancing corrosion and wear resistance.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge about mechanical, chemical, and thermal surface treatment methods used to improve the surface properties of materials. It aims to develop students'ability to select and apply appropriate techniques to enhance properties such as wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and surface hardness.
