Course Content
The course content begins with fundamental concepts and planning processes of the supply chain, and covers basic operational steps such as transportation, inventory, warehousing, and handling. Focusing on the use of ERP, CRM, and information technologies for digital integration, the course also covers reverse logistics approaches managing performance management, outsourcing, and returns processes, presented in a practical and integrated manner, supported by in-term quizzes and review sessions.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to holistically manage the flow of products, information, and finances within a digitally focused modern commerce ecosystem. The course covers how to integrate digital marketing strategies with logistics processes throughout a product's journey from raw materials to the end consumer, focusing on inventory management, supplier relationships, and order fulfillment. The goal is to equip students with the strategic decision-making skills to increase the operational efficiency of e-commerce sites, optimize delivery times to maximize customer satisfaction, and gain a cost advantage in a competitive market.
