Course Content
The course covers sociological theories about ethnicity, ethnic group and ethnic identity, the connection and differences between the concepts of race, ethnic separation and ethnic relations cycles, the social position and perception of ethnic differences.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to students Ethnicityis to teach the theories of sociology developed on racial and ethnic conflict. Thus, to ensure that students are able to analyse the issues focused on ethnic conflict, which is often the subject of agenda in today's societies; Ethnic and racial differences are aimed at how the social position is formed, the reasons for ethnic conflict or decomposition, to gain a sociological perspective on the nature of the relationship between different ethnic groups.
