Sociology

Those who graduate and receive the title of sociologist work in the probation directorates of the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the State Planning Organization, the Turkish Statistical Institute, the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Immigration, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the Ministry of Public Works. They can work in organizations such as the Ministry of Housing and Settlement, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Affairs, TRT and Public Economic Enterprises, Prisons and Child Protection. They work as Philosophy Group Teachers after receiving training under the conditions stipulated by the Ministry of National Education. They provide family counselling. They work in R&D companies, media, political parties, advertising and public opinion research companies. They can continue their postgraduate education and work as academic staff at universities.
