Course Content
The content of the course is the definition of science, its aims, characteristics, development and phases; History of science, philosophy of science, philosophical movements and their impact on the development of science, history of inventions; epistemology, ontology: consists of the nature of scientific concepts, scientific knowledge and its properties, scientific method, scientific thought, scientific inquiry and science and society.
Objectives of the Course
To focus on different science designs and to enable students to think about scientific activity on the basis of concepts such as truth, objectivity, universality, consistency.
