Course Content
It includes topics such as basic concepts and theories about migration, causes and consequences of migration, external migration from Turkey and the situation of Turkish migrants, ghetto and diaspora formations, relations and solidarity networks in the migration process.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to sociological information of students who want to specialize in social change and economic development in the field of migration. He realizes that the population movements constitute a crucial part of social change in every period, the growth of cities, the development and the changes in social relations are closely related to human settlements.
