Course Content
Moral Philosophy, definition of morality, its subject, methods, necessity and purpose, good and bad as moral values, whether moral character can change or not, origin of moral action, Fact and Value Relationship, value and value judgments, structure and formation of values, moral judgment, moral intention, moral purpose and means, morality and responsibility, moral law, duty and types of duty, right and law in morality, moral conscience, practical morality, individual morality, family morality, social morality, political morality etc. are emphasized.
Objectives of the Course
To inform the students about Moral Philosophy and to sample different types of morality, to try to show our humanity the contribution of Islamic moralists to the thought and moral history.
