Course Content
The place of Turkish language among the world languages and historical periods of Turkish language. Sounds in Turkish and their classification, sound features of Turkish and rules related to phonetics. Turkish construction affixes and application, general information about composition. It includes plans and applications to be used in composition writing..
Objectives of the Course
In terms of the language-thought connection, it aims to gain the ability to use Turkish correctly and beautifully as a means of written and oral expression, to make a unifying and integrative language dominant in teaching, and to raise young people with a mother tongue consciousness.

| 2 | Types of written expression: Article. General information about the article. Explanation of how to prepare and write an article. Reading various article samples. Preparation of an article on ""Development of language awareness, language pollution and Atatürk's Language Understanding"". |
| 3 | Types of written expression: Essay, criticism, joke and interview. Characteristics of these genres and examination of sample pieces. |
| 4 | Event writings: Stories. Story examples from Turkish literature |
| 5 | Event writings: Novel. Definition, subject, elements and types of novel. Examples of novels from Turkish and world literature. |
| 6 | Emotion writings Poetry. Reading examples of poems of some well-known poets in Turkish literature and gaining the pleasure of reading and listening to poetry. |
| 7 | Types of written expression related to daily life: Travel, memoir and diary. Reading and analyzing sample pieces related to these genres. |
| 8 | Letter as a type of written expression. Relation of the letter to daily life. How to do this type of correspondence via electronic mail. Reading sample letters of Turkish literature |
