Social Service

Objective:

To enable students enrolled in the social work program to have knowledge about the scientific and professional infrastructure, ethics and values of social work, to gain the basic practice skills required for individual, group and community-oriented social work practices, and thus to become social workers who are planners, organizers, managers, researchers and practitioners in various social service fields (family, children, old age, disability, health, social assistance, migration, etc.).

 Sub Objectives:

To produce scientific activities (researches, projects, symposiums, workshops, panels, etc.) in the field of social services and thus; to shed light on the solution of regional social problems in Turkey in general and Konya in particular, and to contribute to the expansion of domestic social work literature.
