Course Content
Definition, purpose and importance of statistics; organization of data; presentation of data in tables and graphs; measures of central tendency and distribution; point estimation and confidence intervals; basic sampling methods and calculations; hypothesis testing; analysis method choices, comparison of measurement averages, parametric and nonparametric tests, regression and correlation analysis are examined. The course is conducted using the SPSS package program.
Objectives of the Course
To teach students the use of statistics in research along with the basic statistical method and the evaluation of statistical analysis.
