Course Content
Throughout the semester, within the scope of this course, the historical development of the social welfare state in Europe and the relationship of this process with the social work profession, the historical development of the social welfare state and social policy in the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Turkey, current social welfare policies, and how these policies relate to the social work profession. and the different social welfare state models in various countries will be explained, compared and critically analyzed.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide social work students with a system-based basic discussion about comparative models of Social Welfare in different government systems, and to provide a critical basis for the current problems.
