Course Content
Definitions and approaches to disasters; earthquake, flood, accident, war etc. the psychological, emotional and economic problems of those who are faced with disaster situations; effective social work intervention to overcome problems; disaster management.
Objectives of the Course
It is among the objectives of this course that students recognize the phenomenon of disaster, be aware of its policy and management, and structure the social work response.
