Course Content
In this course, the field of psychiatric social work, developments in the field of mental health and the role and functions of the social worker working in this field will be explained. Psychiatric disorders and their classification, treatment of psychiatric disorders and teamwork in the field of psychiatric social work are other topics to be discussed. The course will be supported by movie shows appropriate to this content.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to help students develop their knowledge on the classification and diagnosis of mental illnesses and to equip students to perform social work practices in the field of mental health.
