Course Content
The concepts of civil society, democracy and participation, the role and importance of non-governmental organizations in terms of social development, cooperation, solidarity and change; the concept of volunteering and its importance in terms of social services; The role of the social worker in the establishment, functioning and development of non-governmental organizations, the function and importance of non-governmental organizations in the presentation of social services and the solution of social problems constitute the content of the course.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course; It is to explain the development of the concept of civil society, the aims, organizations, activities and forms of communication of non-governmental organizations in the global world, and the importance of non-governmental organizations in social work practices.
