Course Content
Concepts of migration (internal migration, international migration, forced migration, irregular migration, immigrant, refugee, asylum seeker, etc.), transnational social areas, asylum and asylum processes, legal, political, economic, cultural and psychosocial problems faced by immigrants, theories of migration, immigration policies, social work practices with immigrants and asylum seekers.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide students with a theoretical understanding of migration, asylum, refugee, temporary protection, to interpret migration theories, the national and global effects of migration, and to prepare them as social workers for this field of practice.

| 4 | Migration management in Turkey, development of migration policy in Turkey, national and international regulations |
| 5 | Migration theories, evaluation of migration theories in the context of Syrians and other immigrants |
