Course Content
The street as a social environment, observations from the street, definition and scope of street social work, target groups in street social work; the phenomenon of street children, classification of street children, people who collect waste materials; homelessness, institutional and community-based services, preventive street work, sample street social work practices, national and international legal regulations on child protection systems.
Objectives of the Course
It is aimed that students understand the street as a social environment, have knowledge of street social work and skills for intervention to solve social problems experienced on the street.
