Course Content
Poverty as a social problem; examining the micro, mezzo and macro variables as the determinant of the poverty problem and the causes of poverty; consequences of poverty; There are topics such as the role of social work in reducing social risks that cause poverty and coping with poverty and the social assistance system in Turkey.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course; To enable students to comprehend the concept of poverty with its different dimensions, to have an idea about the causes and consequences of poverty, and to learn social work practices in the fight against poverty.
