Course Content
In this course, social work practice with organizations and communities is examined within the framework of the generalist approach. In this context; the concepts of society, community and social change are examined and the theories of social change are discussed. Approaches and techniques used within the scope of community work practice are discussed. Macro-level social work practices such as 'community planning', 'community development', 'community organization' are examined in a broad perspective in all aspects.
Objectives of the Course
This course aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills for generalist social work practice at macro (organization and communities) level.
