Course Content
Explanation of the translation process in the Turkish States established in Anatolia before the Republic and the Republican period.
Objectives of the Course
To inform the students about the beginning of the translation process in Turks, its development and reaching to the present day.

| 1 | The Arabic word translation, which is the equivalent of the word translation, was emphasized and information was given about its origin. In addition, in addition to the word translation, detailed explanations were made about the areas where the words translator and interpreter are used. |
| 2 | The dictionary and terminology meanings of the word translation were emphasized, explanations were made about the use of both meanings and examples were given. Then the history of Turkish translation is introduced and a brief information about the process is given. |
