Course Content
Identification, collection, transportation, storage, and disposal of waste in the waste management system. Waste disposal processes and their impact on the environment. Relevant regulations and laws.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to learn the basic concepts of hazardous waste management, legal regulations, waste reduction, recovery, storage, and final disposal processes, as well as to gain an understanding of the remediation of land contaminated by hazardous waste.
