Course Content
Occupational and work-related diseases; chemical and physical agents; occupational infections; lung, skin, musculoskeletal diseases; occupational cancers; psychosocial risks; cardiovascular risk; workplace monitoring; pre-employment and periodic health checks; occupational rehabilitation; health checks for vulnerable groups; employee training; health record system; workplace nutrition, immunization, and ethical issues; ergonomic and industrial hygiene; worker health legislation.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to introduce students to occupational diseases and work-related health risks and to provide knowledge and practical skills in workplace hygiene and health surveillance.
