Interdisciplinary Occupational Health and Safety
Admission Requirements
Candidates applying to the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Doctoral Program at KTO Karatay University must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualifications:
- Applicants must hold a thesis-based master’s degree.
- Depending on the master’s graduation, a scientific preparatory program may be required in some cases.
- ALES Requirement:
- Applicants must have scored at least 55 on the ALES exam (in any of the verbal, equal weight, or quantitative score types).
- The required score type and/or minimum score may be adjusted if deemed necessary.
- Foreign Language Proficiency:
- Applicants must score at least 55 on YDS or YÖKDİL, or achieve an equivalent score on foreign language exams recognized by ÖSYM.
- The minimum score requirement may be raised if necessary.
- Other Evaluations:
- During the application process, candidates are expected to submit undergraduate and graduate transcripts, a CV, a research proposal, and reference letters.
- Academic potential and suitability for the doctoral program are evaluated through an interview and/or written examination by a review committee.
