Interdisciplinary Occupational Health and Safety

Candidates applying to the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Doctoral Program at KTO Karatay University must meet the following criteria:

1. Academic Qualifications:
   • Applicants must hold a thesis-based master’s degree.
   • Depending on the master’s graduation, a scientific preparatory program may be required in some cases.
2. ALES Requirement:
   • Applicants must have scored at least 55 on the ALES exam (in any of the verbal, equal weight, or quantitative score types).
   • The required score type and/or minimum score may be adjusted if deemed necessary.
3. Foreign Language Proficiency:
   • Applicants must score at least 55 on YDS or YÖKDİL, or achieve an equivalent score on foreign language exams recognized by ÖSYM.
   • The minimum score requirement may be raised if necessary.
4. Other Evaluations:
   • During the application process, candidates are expected to submit undergraduate and graduate transcripts, a CV, a research proposal, and reference letters.
   • Academic potential and suitability for the doctoral program are evaluated through an interview and/or written examination by a review committee.
