Course Content
Requirements of environmental management; basic definitions; environmental resources; energy-environment relationship; sustainable development; environmental legislation in Turkey; Environmental Law; Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation; water and air pollution control; solid and hazardous waste management; regulation on non-hygienic establishments; other environmental regulations.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach students the requirements of environmental management in workplace safety and to provide understanding of environmental legislation and sustainable development principles in the context of occupational health and safety.
