Course Content
Basic level grammar; includes the development of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, as well as vocabulary skills.
Objectives of the Course
The purpose of the Foreign Language I course is for students to be able to understand initial-level grammar and vocabulary acquisition, initial-level reading and listening tracks, and to answer relevant questions, and to have an effective communication skill at the basic level, verbally and in writing.

1 Transferring the objectives and achievements of the course
2 Use the verb "to be". Introducing yourself. Learning "Possessives" and "this, that, these, those". Introducing the family.
3 Practising "To be", "Possessives" and "this, that, these, those" (reinforcing the topic with reading passages and listening activities)
4 Introduction to "Simple Present Tense". Talking about daily routine activities. Learning about occupations. Saying days, months, years and hours.
5 Doing exercises on the subject of "Simple Present Tense".Learning adverbs of frequency.Making sentences with have got/has got (learning clothes using have got/has got).
6 Reinforcing the difference between case verbs and action verbs."Building "there is/are" sentences. (Can you describe your room?) Learning basic prepositions.

9 Talking about leisure time activities and hobbies. (What do you do at the weekend?) Using "can/cannot" to talk about abilities and inabilities. Learning to give advice with "should". (Should can be covered with the theme of health problems).
10 Learning countable and uncountable words with the theme of food and drink.Introduction to Articles and Quantifiers (how many, how much, some, any...) "a little, little, a few, few" can be added according to the level of the students.
11 Introduction to "Past Simple".Explaining the difference between "was, were" and action verbs. (These topics can be supported by a reading passage. Homework can also be assigned) (What did you do last summer?)
12 Exercises on the topic "Past Simple" (You can read a biography of a historical figure).
13 "Comparative and Superlatives" will be covered.
