Course Content
Recognizing the book format, Different production techniques, Transfer of technical knowledge to book form.
Objectives of the Course
It defines the stage of solving design problems in book format, analyzes the problem and aims to be able to do the necessary research. It aims to use various printing and reproduction techniques effectively in applying the developed ideas. It enables them to familiarize themselves with the necessary formatting, folding and binding techniques.

1 Introduction of the course, aim, teaching style and examples.
2 Determining the subject for original book design and theoretical and practical research on this subject.
3 Presentation, analysis and evaluation of the researches.
4 Experimental examples: Work on applications based on the use of different techniques separately and in combination.

6 Project 1: Determining the topic and starting the design process as a result of the research for the original book design.
7 Research and experimentation of different materials and paper types in project design applications.

11 Book collation techniques in project design applications.
12 Book binding techniques in project design applications.
13 Completing the applications, converting them into handmade book format and giving critique.
