Course Content
Using digital illustration techniques, in illustration practice
to be able to design graphic products.
Objectives of the Course
Theoretical and practical knowledge on digital illustration types and techniques
to have the vector and pixel used in digital illustration
based programs, to get acquainted with different topics with these programs.
It is aimed to make applications within the scope.

Weekly Detailed Course Contents
Week Topics
1 Giving information about course content, processing, materials and techniques.
2 Vector and pixel-based digital illustration applications programs, presentation on current tablet applications. First project topic giving.
3 Project 1: Creating a character with a vector-based program. An inanimate object, characterize in an anthropomorphic (anthropomorphic) way. Creating character sketching simple gestures and facial expressions. Students will be able to assignment to draw a sketch on the subject.
4 Analyzing and critiquing sketches related to vector-based character studies. Vector-based character or characters selected from the sketches working with the application and finalization. Giving the second project topic. Project 2: Explaining the subject of children's book cover illustration with examples. Determination of the children's book selected for the subject, students' sketches on this subject. assigning homework to draw.
