Course Content
The student is taught traditional printmaking techniques in application workshops and all kinds of research and projected applications are made. The course includes experimental designs suitable for basic printing techniques, preparing molds suitable for the type, preparing printing papers, solutions and inks, printing applications, producing works for competitions, artist examination, finalizing and numbering the prints.
Objectives of the Course
It aims to enable students to learn traditional printing techniques and methods, which form the basis of current original printing, to make original designs and applied studies, and to understand and comprehend the processes. Due to the nature of the original printing course, it is applied in the workshop with the active participation of the students. In addition to technical and application studies, examples containing the historical process of Original Print Painting are also examined, and it is aimed that students increase their knowledge on this subject.

1 Informing about printing techniques in general Course objective and content scope, applications and materials.
2 The development process of Linol Printing, basic principles and examination of examples. Preliminary research for printing work.
3 Print artists, Pablo Picasso, Mc Esher.Creating designs and sketches for linoleum and wood printing technique.
4 Mold preparation for high printing techniques.
5 Linoleum printing, expression, carving, and preparation of linoleum. Discussion of technical problems arising in practice.
6 Preparation for printing, making and applying exposure settings of papers.
7 Linoleum printing applications and presentation process.
8 Color plate preparation for high printing techniques.
9 Making and applying exposure settings of printing preparation papers.
10 Mono printing expression and design, sample application.
11 Mono printing, printing process, drying and examination of results
12 Exlibris presentation and examination of high print samples, contest or subject selection.
13 Formation of sketches, print preparation and application.
14 Completing the prints, numbering them, preparing them for presentation by making passepartout.
