Course Content
In this course, which is a continuation of the design studio II course, a social responsibility issue will be selected and awareness will be raised in the society. In addition, the course will be reinforced with additional projects.
Objectives of the Course
It is aimed to produce visual solutions for this social responsibility project by considering the graphic design needs for the promotion of a social responsibility project.

1 Introduction of the course, giving the briefs of the projects they will do during the semester and explaining these project briefs with international and national examples. Project I: Introduction of a social responsibility project Explanation of the concept of social responsibility project and its application areas with examples and selection of a social responsibility topic. Requesting the research of the selected topic.
2 Project I: Presentation of a social responsibility project Analysing the research for the social responsibility project and giving feedbacks. In the direction of the research, the creation of slogans and messages for the social responsibilit
3 Project I: Presentation of a social responsibility project Analysing, giving feedback and selecting slogans and messages written for a social responsibility project. Project II: Online Newspaper Design Giving information about online newspapers. Giving a brief for designing an 8-page art or culture newspaper and showing national and international examples. Researching the newspaper to be designed and determining the name of the newspaper.
4 Reviewing the research conducted for the book cover design and the information gathered in this regard, extracting the titles of the information to be included. Requesting design sketches for the book cover to be created.
5 Project I: Introduction of a social responsibility project Selection and finalisation of slogans and messages written for the social responsibility project Examination of logo sketches for the social responsibility project and giving feedback. Selection of the logos made. Requesting the implementation of the designs of the selected logos. Project II. Online Newspaper Design Checking the design sketches for the online newspaper to be designed and giving feedback. Continuing with sketches.
6 Project I: Introduction of a social responsibility project Analysing the logos designed for the social responsibility project and giving feedback. Choosing one of the designed logos. Requesting male and female designs of the selected logo Project II. Online Newspaper Design Deciding on the concept among the sketches made. Asking to start designing the headline page of the online newspaper

Requesting sketches of 3 series of poster designs to create the concept in line with the slogan and messages that emerged in line with the research. Project II. Online Newspaper Design Controlling the implementation of the headline design of the online newspaper and feedbacks.

11 Project I: Presentation of a social responsibility project Examination of poster applications and finalisation by giving feedbacks. In line with the research carried out, the necessary information to inform the target audience about the social responsibility issue, to raise awareness of the target audience or to create awareness in the target audience is classified and 2-fold brochure design sketches are requested in this direction.
