Course Content
Spanning two semesters, this course covers the examination of fundamental professional terminology—such as color theory, typography, UX/UI design, packaging, and motion graphics—through sector-specific reading materials. Additionally, it involves practical communication exercises based on real-world scenarios, including internal agency email correspondence, client feedback management, professional portfolio presentations, and job interview simulations.
Objectives of the Course
The objective of this course is to equip graphic design students with the sector-specific English vocabulary and practical grammar skills required to communicate at an international level in their professional careers. The course aims to enable students to analyze digital and print design processes in English and to express themselves competently in professional work environments.

2 Explains professional vocabulary related to advertising campaigns, strategies, billboards, and slogans.
3 Correctly uses modals of possibility, deduction, and obligation in design and marketing meetings.
4 Conducts teamwork speaking and brainstorming based on the "Spring Fest" advertising strategy scenario.
5 Uses terms for portfolios, resumes (CVs), strengths, and weaknesses within a business context.
6 Applies interview formulas to introduce oneself professionally and highlight skills in job interviews.
7 Writing Skills: "From Paragraph to Essay"

9 Develops appropriate answer strategies for sector-specific interview questions and prepares a personal professional profile card.
10 Explores job interview scenarios practically through the "Speed Dating Mock Interview" activity.

13 Conducts professional email writing exercises for design crises like computer crashes or incorrect file printing.
