1 Giving information about the course content. Giving source book and material information. 14-week road map and giving information about the course.
2 Presentation on the history, types and techniques of illustration.
3 Explaining botanical and scientific illustration with examples. Botanical illustration homework on the subject.
4 Project 1: Analyzing and critiquing sketches related to botanical illustration. Experimenting with different techniques on paper on the subject.
