Course Content
The course covers the main theoretical framework and theorists of semiotics, a discipline originating from linguistics, and includes semiotic analysis in different media within the context of graphic design, one of the visual disciplines.
Objectives of the Course
The course aims to analyse the relationship between semiotics and graphic design by addressing the basic concepts of semiotics, examining the types of indicators and enabling the student to perceive the meaning desired to be given in various media correctly.
