Course Content
The definition and scope of graphic design, Gestalt Principles, symbol and meaning interpretation, universal visual systems such as pictograms, and the fundamental applications necessary to organise visual information and meaning, enabling the creation of visual meaning in terms of both content and form.
Objectives of the Course
Students' recognition and positioning of graphic design is to ensure that they can create catchy/remarkable visuals in the context of the subjects given using various methods and techniques. As an introduction to Graphic Design, the course is intended to do studies in which they can control meaning over image.

| 4 | How do we see? The act of seeing. How do artists work in different design disciplines? How do they design? How do they live? How do they produce? Watching a documentary about the photographer Platon. |
| 5 | What are the Gestalt Principles? How do these visual principles work? An explanation of the topic with examples. |
| 6 | Project 1: Continuing with the topic of Gestalt principles and principles of vision. Assigning homework topics on this subject. |
