Course Content
Course contents definition, aims, characteristics, development and phases of science; history of science, philosophy of science, philosophical currents and effects of science on development; history of inventions, epistemology, ontology: nature of scientific concepts, scientific knowledge and characteristics, scientific method, scientific thought, scientific inquiry and science and society subjects.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to provide students with the ability to focus on different science designs and to make students think about scientific activity based on concepts such as accuracy, objectivity, universality, coherence, etc.
