Course Content
The GST 105 course aims to help students develop their writing skills in a range from description writing to writing summary, mechanism and process descriptions and writing e-mails, while helping them achieve coherence and fluency. GST 105 is designed as an integrated skills course so that students can use English adequately and prepare for the requirements of academic English.
Objectives of the Course
In line with the communicative approach in English teaching, it is aimed to develop students' advanced speaking and comprehension skills, to form vocabulary and to have a good command of grammar with student-centered techniques.

| 2 | "To be"fiilini kullanma. Kendini tanıtma. "Possessives"ve "this, that, these, those"konularını öğrenme. Aileyi tanıtma. |
| 3 | "To be", "Possessives"ve "this, that, these, those"konularında alıştırmalar yapma. (Okuma parçaları ve dinleme aktiviteleriyle konuyu pekiştirme) |
| 4 | "Simple Present Tense"konusuna giriş. Günlük rutin aktivitelerden bahsetme. Meslekleri öğrenme. Günleri, ayları, yılları ve saatleri söyleme. |
| 5 | "Simple Present Tense"konusu üzerine alıştırmalar yapma. Sıklık zarflarını öğrenme. Have got/has got ile cümleler kurma. (Have got/has got kullanarak giysileri öğrenme.) |
