Course Content
This course will focus on the origins of the understanding of living together in Turkish-Islamic culture. The function of information in society in ensuring a harmonious and sustainable understanding of living together will be examined. The concept of "madrasa", which means the place where classes are held, will be analyzed and Karatay Madrasa, which is the source of inspiration of our university, will be analyzed with its socio-cultural dimensions.
Objectives of the Course
At the end of this course, the student will be able to learn what the Turkish-Islamic civilization has brought to the individual and the society, how and in what context the Turkish-Islamic culture will provide optimal benefit for the human being to become a social being, and that the culture of living together is not only specific to the present but also includes the past and future.
