The Mission of the Optometry Program is to train qualified, competent technical staff who have the knowledge and skills to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the optician profession, who have internalized the ethical understanding of their profession, and who have sufficient knowledge and skills to support the treatment processes of eye defects and diseases.
